Wind Horse Awareness Adventure Camps for Kids

Wind Horse Awareness camps are truly awareness adventures for youth of all ages. This leading edge camp makes use of equine experiential learning activities that are woven into our foundation touchstones. The four touchstones that make up the foundation of our camps are not just lofty ideas- we practice them daily as we strive to “walk our talk”. Campers will practice The Law of Attraction and The Four Agreements while building Authentic Community and learning Natural Horsemanship skills. This unique approach gives campers the tools to establish an authentic, safe, and respectful co-creative relationship with a horse.

Our goal is to work with kids that are truly interested in learning to establish a respectful, effective partnership with horses. It is our experience and belief that a successful and rewarding relationship begins by expanding our knowledge of our equine friends AS WELL AS expanding our knowledge of ourselves. Horses have a unique ability to mirror for us the emotions that we often repress. Our journey towards greater self awareness begins with acknowledging and then becoming congruent with our feelings. As we begin to bring our authentic self forward magic happens with our horses. The gift from our equine partners is one of connection. When we learn to connect authentically with a horse we are also learning how to connect with our own inner being.

Most of our camp activities are equine related and we will be working with our equine partners primarily from the ground. Mounted activities will include staff leading the horses. This is not a riding camp and riding skills will not be taught. Instead, campers will learn to: set, maintain and respect boundaries, be effective and compassionate leaders, recognize verbal and non-verbal communication, bring forth and honor the authentic in themselves and others, listen to their inner guidance system and intuition, make new friends and HAVE FUN!
